A while ago I did the stupid thing - I forgot to drink water on a pretty warm day, where I sweated a lot, and only drank coffee, and a few beers... I of course got dehydrated, and as an after-effect I got a headache... Hmmmm
We all need water (or other fluids) to survive, but it varies on how much you need each day - In a hot summer, or after a few hours in the gym you might need a lot, while on a colder day (and maybe inactive) you don’t need as much... Feel within yourself, to find out just how much you need.
There’s also the possibility that you can drink TOO MUCH water - Don’t ’cause too much water can kill you...

Based on the article, then warn your kids to play these water-drinking contests to see, who can drink the most water - I have a nephew who did that, with some of his friends - He did survive, but had to go to the hospital... It’s serious stuff
So don’t drink too much
but don’t drink to little either!
